How To Draw A Background

After all this theory on groundwork design and perspective, you should experience prepared to describe your own groundwork! Before you start, take the time to plan something. Sketch a few thumbnails on a piece of paper.

How to depict a background
- Showtime Harmony.
- In the Welcome screen, proper name your project Background-Blueprint followed by your initials.
- Remember, you need to sketch your idea offset. In the Timeline view, click the Add together Drawing Layer button to create a new drawing layer and name it: sketch.
NOTE: If yous have issues with this step, you tin can use the 01-background-sketch.tpl template.
- You lot will need to create all layers in the Timeline view. Repeat until you accept all your cartoon layers in the Timeline view. If needed, rename them to keep your work organized. For this activity, you will be creating a scene that includes divide layers for the main components in your blueprint. For example:
- In your Perspective Guide layer, depict the horizon line and vanishing points. From those you will be able to trace the construction lines for the background.
Annotation: If yous have issues with this pace, you can use the 02-construction-lines.tpl template.
- In each layer, utilise the Brush tool to draw the elements needed for your scene based on your sketch. Don't forget to always use your vanishing points and horizon line.
NOTE: If yous accept issues with this footstep, you can apply the 03-groundwork-outline.tpl template.
- Once yous are washed with the line art, take some fourth dimension to color them with the Paint Bucket tool. In the Colour view, create colour swatches for the various colours needed.

- Relieve your projection.
